MB&F HM7 Aquapod Watch Hands

n wrists, clock machine No. 7 "Aquapod" feels like it is easy to be the most weird mb&f watches timepiece I have ever passed. Those who know the brand will soon point out the seriousness of the statement. Almost all MB&F Horological Machine (HM) watches are very strangely designed, but they are very comfortable on the wrist. This means that in order to be the "most" visually unconventional, the HM7 needs to go beyond this extra distance - defeating other close competitors such as HM1, HM2, HM3, HM4, HM5, HM6, HMX and HM8. This is actually all other Horological Machine watches, and I have realized that everyone has a very unique wearing experience in their own way. Having said that, for me, the uniqueness of the HM7 is the most confident. Maybe that's because it's the first round Horological Machine watch ever made by MB&F.

Like most HM timepieces, the MB&F HM7 Aquapod is expensive, technically very interesting, with very high quality standards and full polarization. Even in the aBlogtoWatch team - they tend to be open-minded - they also have different views on the MB&F HM7 Aquapod. This is good and worth looking forward to, as few people have the same desire for Max Busser and every MB&F watch produced by the team. Although, I found that the most conservative (relatively speaking) watches produced by this brand are actually the least interesting to me. Therefore, I think that I am someone who needs a high degree of "crazy" to satisfy my enthusiasm for MB&F.

Just before SIHH 2017, MB&F released the Horological Machine No. 7 Aquapod watch, which I introduced in detail here. I am not going to reiterate every technical detail and fact, so if the watch is new, I suggest you click on the link above to our introductory article on MB&F HM7 Aquapod to familiarize yourself with this limited edition watch collection. According to the MB&F standard, the MB&F HM7 Aquapod's debut version (meaning a limited edition of material or appearance changes in the future) is relatively large and will be divided into 33 pieces of titanium alloy and 66 pieces of 18k gold.

When I wrote an article about MB&F HM7 Aquapod earlier in 2017, I found it interesting (as I mentioned before) more versions of the MB&F HM7 Aquapod watch will use gold instead of more "affordable" titanium. After all, this is as close as MB&F is close to a sports watch (I think you might argue with HM5) so you would expect the wearer to pay attention to the lightness of titanium. Then I need to remind myself, no, this is indeed a $100,000 luxury – even a titanium case. Still, this awesome marine creature looks very dangerously close to the diving top watches for men ...

Unfortunately, my dreams (perhaps others) need to wait for the authentic MB&F diving watch because the MB&F HM7 "Jellyfish" case is only 50 meters waterproof. This is enough to make it light, but it is recommended not to swim when wearing this watch. I asked what the brand is preventing the MB&F HM7 Aquapod from being more water resistant. They did a series of stress tests on the case. Obviously, the weakness is the double crown on either side of the case for winding or setting time (respectively). The MB&F HM7 Aquapod has the potential to use more hard-core washers or screw systems to increase its water resistance to around 100 meters in future versions - but I don't know if this will help MB&F sell more products.

Having said that, I think it is because I like diving watches (and MB&F) that the MB&F HM7 Aquapod appeals to me as much. I am usually a believer in the design sensitivity of Max Busser and Eric Giroud (actual designer), so MB&F HM7 Aquapod is doing at least two things that I love. It is also visually wild, including an internal spherical casing, a flying tourbillon, immediately indicated by a number of sloping circular frames, and a rotating diver-style metal and ceramic timing bezel that feels like a Rolex submersible MB&F nod.

From the side, the MB&F HM7 Aquapod looks a lot like the UFO concept of the 1950s or 1960s, which is directly related to MB&F's lasting love of science fiction themes, combined with watch-like elegance. Although the case is very large, 53.8 mm wide and 21.3 mm thick, most of the mass is actually above the wrist and is very comfortable. In addition, the high-end rubber strap is very comfortable (tidy appearance) and fits comfortably on the wrist. When paying a large fee for MB&F, you know for sure that you are investing in design and ergonomics - seriously.

Even the action of rotating the bezel can make people feel smooth, and each station can guarantee clicks. This element of the watch is as meticulously designed as the other elements. I can easily say that MB&F watches replica has now designed a rotating bezel and they are doing very well. Functionally, the watch is very simple, providing hour and minute through the rotating ring, and the tourbillon frame is more or less doubled as a second hand indicator. The electric blue line for the wearer is where you read the current time. Once you master it, it's actually very easy to read.
