Research of the mechanism of action of Mesenchymal Stem/Stromal Cells in modulation of Osteoarthritis and development of therapeutic agents from the data generated. Candidates should have a proven track record in a research and development environment and previous experience in adult stem cell (MSC) biology is essential. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the Biomedical Sciences Postdoctoral Position 1 Significant experience in the biology of Osteoarthritis and relevant in vivo models is essential. Postdoctoral Position 2 Significant experience in analysis of immune cell populations by flow cytometry either in ex vivo or in pre-clinical models of osteoarthritis or immune-mediated diseases is essential. Postdoctoral Position 3 Significant experience in molecular analysis and bioinformatics is essential; experience in these areas for MSC biology or osteoarthritis is desirable. Desirable Criteria: Experience in osteoarthritis and/or immunomodulation would be viewed positively for all positions. Training with certification in pre-clinical experimentation. Understanding of translation or clinical trial methodology.
